All Norwegian flights are ticketless. When making a booking, you will be asked to provide your email address and mobile phone number. Please ensure that these details are correct as they are our only means of contact with you. After completing your reservation your travel information and booking reference will appear on your screen. We will then send you an email containing a PDF file with your travel document and a travel receipt. You can also select to receive a receipt via SMS. This will contain your booking details. Please retain this information for your journey.
The reference number provided is your only confirmation of booking. Norwegian booking references comprise of six characters (letter and numeric). Your booking is not confirmed until you have received your reference number.
Ticket Conditions
- All fares are one way and include all taxes and charges. All ticket prices are converted to the nearest euro/pound.
- All tickets are charged per person per segment.
- Optional services and service charges are charged according to the applicable conditions. NOTE: All additional charges will be specified in separate transactions.
- A service charge will apply to all bookings made via our Contact Centre or at the airport.
- All domestic tickets and service charges include VAT (local VAT rates will apply dependent on country of travel).
Low Fare Tickets
- Can be purchased right up until departure
- Credit card is charged immediately after the booking is confirmed
- Cannot upgrade to a Full Flex ticket
- Can be cancelled within 4 hours of making a booking. This can be done by clicking on the cancel button under “my reservations” or by contacting us by phone during our opening hours. If this tab is not available, more than 4 hours have passed since the booking was made, and the option to cancel for free is no longer available. 4 hours after a booking has been made, our standard rules for cancellation and changing tickets apply.
- If you phone our Contact Centre with 24 hours of booking the wrong date/time/city pair (12 hours if you book less than 24 hours before travel), you have the option to book a new ticket (at the fare available) over the phone and we will refund the original booking. No refund will be provided if a new ticket is not booked in accordance with the guidelines above. Does not apply to flight and hotel packages.

Full Flex Tickets
- Can be purchased right up until departure
- Can be re-booked and/or cancelled (cancellation must take place at least 2 hours prior to departure for overseas travel)
- Credit card is charged once the journey is completed
- Pre-booked seat reservation and one check-in bag included
Ticket Control
As part of the EU/EEA regulations for civil aviation all tickets must be checked before passing through the security checkpoint. You must present a ticket valid for travel on the current date before you are able to pass through the security checkpoint. A valid boarding pass, a travel document with a barcode, an SMS ticket with a 2-D barcode or an electronic ticket on a credit card may all be accepted by security.
