Only one item of cabin baggage is permitted per person. Maximum weight is ten (10) kilos. Maximum size is 55 x 40 x 23 cm.
Norwegian is not responsible for belongings left on board. Please also note that we do not log lost property, and that lost property is not always handed in to or found by our flight crew.

Stockholm Arlanda:
Lost property found on board our aircraft that land at Arlanda is handed over to Nordic Aero, which keeps items for max 24 hours. They are then given to Bagport for storage. Bagport can be contact by phone on +46 8-797 60 80 or by fax on +46 8-797 62 47. More information is available on their website.

New rules for hand luggage
Only a limited amount of liquid, creams and gels can be carried in a passenger's hand luggage on flights in the EU/EEA. Each passenger is allowed to bring a maximum of one litre of liquid/cream/gel. Each item cannot be larger than 100 ml and liquids, creams and gels must be placed in a transparent sealable plastic bag which must be presented for inspection at the security checkpoint. Exceptions are made for medication, dietary products and baby food (not from the UK or France). You do not need to place these in a plastic bag. You will also not be asked to show a prescription for any medication. If the security officer is in doubt, you may be asked to taste the product.

Each passenger is solely responsible for packing their luggage in such a way that the contents cannot be damaged. The passenger is liable for any damaged caused to the plane's equipment or another passenger's luggage should a bottle containing liquid in their checked luggage break. Norwegian does not accept liability for damage to checked baggage caused by a broken bottle or similar.

Checked baggage
For charter flights, one piece of luggage weighing a maximum of 20 kilos is included. If you wish to take an extra item of luggage (maximum 2 per passenger), this can purchased on the Norwegian website or at the airport. The fees are as follows (per flight and person):

For a fee, Norwegian permits 2 items of checked baggage per passenger, max weight per item 20 kg. If an item of baggage exceeds 20 kg or you bring more than 2 items of baggage, you will be charged for this excess baggage per kg. Norwegian does not accept items of baggage that weigh more than 32 kg or less than 2 kg. The maximum permitted weight for checked baggage is 64 kg per passenger. The maximum length of special baggage is 2.5 metres.

All checked baggage must be clearly marked with a name and phone number.
There are no refunds for prepaid baggage.
• If you have made a reservation and then decide that you want to take more luggage, you will need to pay for any additional pieces at the airport, or at least 25 hours before departure by calling +47 815 21 815 or via the internett.
• We cannot accept individual items of baggage weighing more than 32 kg or less than 2 kg. The weight limit does not apply to live animals in the cargo hold.
• We permit a total baggage weight of 64 kg.
• Children under the age of two are allowed to check in up to 5 kilos of luggage free of charge, in addition to a car seat and buggy. Children under the age of two who have not purchased their own seat do not have a hand luggage allowance, except for food and drink for consumption on the flight. Children (aged 2-11) with their own seat are able to take with them a buggy and car seat free of charge.
Seat reservation
Reserve your seats in advance to ensure that you and your party are seated together. You can reserve your seat until 6 days prior to departure. The price for seat reservation is per passenger per leg, and is as follows:

Special baggage
Large items of sports equipment, such as surfboards and bicycles, are carried upon payment of a surcharge. If you wish to carry such equipment on board, you must reserve space on board by phone.

• You do not need to prebook space for your bicycle if it is packed in a case. Norwegian accepts more than 4 bicycles per departure when packed in cases.
• Prebooking bicycles is only necessary if your bicycle is not packed in a case. Norwegian accepts only 4 bicycles per departure when the bicycles are not packed in a case.
• A fee for transportation of bicycles always applies, even if they are packed in a case.
• The max weight per bicycle is 20 kg
Passengers must pay the surcharge for oversized baggage at the airport on the day of departure.
Norwegian does not accept windsurfing equipment and pole vaulting poles due to their dimensions.
Golf and ski equipment
Carriage of golf and ski equipment can only be booked via this link or paid for at the airport on departure.
All passengers taking special baggage must be fully checked in at least one hour before departure.

When carrying dry ice in checked baggage, the following applies:
• The package must be max 2.5 kg
• It must be packed so that air can circulate, e.g. through small air holes.
• DIt must be labelled "Dry Ice".

Transport of animals
Norwegian accepts live animals (dogs and cats only) for transport in the hold under restricted conditions. Norwegian does not permit the transport of animals in the cabin on international flights.
The transport of live animals must be booked at the same time as your flights via our Customer Centre at least 48 hours before departure – call +47 21 49 00 15 and select option 2. A surcharge of NOK 80 per person per leg will be added onto the ticket price. Reservations cannot be made by e-mail.
Norwegian is not responsible for ensuring that the animal has all necessary entry and exit permits, health certificates or other essential documents connected with entry or through-travel in individual countries, states or territories. The person who is transporting/sending the animal must repay any and all fines, costs and losses incurred by Norwegian in connection with this.
Transport of animals in cargo hold:
Transport of live animals is limited to 4 animals per flight and the animals may only be loaded on board in separate IATA-approved cat or dog kennels/containers (hard shell); steel cages are not accepted. The container must be of a solid material and be fully waterproof and completely clean. The container must be large enough to allow the animal to stand up, turn round and lie in a natural position. The container must not exceed the dimensions 101x81x89 cm.
Two animals can be transported in the same container provided that the animals are well acquainted with each other. The max weight is 14 kg per animal, when they are being shipped in the same pet container.
Extremely cold weather can cause periodic restrictions on live animal transport to/from the north of Norway.
Animals (cats and dogs) must be at least 8 weeks old when transported in cargo.

Unacceptable baggage Checked luggage must not contain any of the following items: Fragile objects, perishable goods, valuable items such as computer equipment, jewellery, precious stones, money, keys, camera, important documents, briefcases with alarms, medicines, medical documents and forms of identification, explosives, firearms (except guns for hunting and sport under specific conditions), compressed gas cylinders (deep-frozen, inflammable, non-combustible, toxic), flammable liquids, substances containing high oxygen levels (such as peroxides and other bleaches), toxic substances, radioactive substances, corrosive substances, magnetic and other harmful or noxious substances and irritants.
It is also prohibited to carry imitation weapons, daggers, flick knives/knives and other articles resembling weapons or other articles posing a potential threat to flights operated by Norwegian.
The use of electrical/electronic devices (such as radios and mobile phones) is not permitted on board as these could interfere with the aircraft's radio and navigation equipment.
You are responsible for ensuring that your luggage is properly packed and does not contain any of the above items.
